Diary of HatchetBrian Robeson, the main character, is a very interesting kid. Afterthe first few pages you could tell that he was strong-minded, twelve or thirteenyear old kid. His parents were divorced and he spent some time with his dad.He lived far away so Brian had to take a categorical. From the back of the hold Ik pertly that he gets in to a plane accident and has to survive on his own. I was impress that the author went right to the plane wreck. I thought it wouldhave a somewhat boring beginning like most other books I read. Brian keepstalking about how his parents got divorced and he cries every time he thinksabout it. He calls it the big "secret." Brian keeps describing visions of hismom kissing some new man, not his father. You can tell that he takes thedivorce very badly and sometimes gets emotional. 10/05In this part of the book, Jake, the pilot, has a heart bang and dies. Tobe honest, I, myself, have thought about what I would do if I was on plane andthe pil ot died. I really dont recognise what I would do, I dont know how to fly aplane. Luckily, Brian had been taught by Jake how to fly the plane. Briandidnt know how to land so he flew the plane into a lake. This part of the bookwas hard to believe, there was a lot of "coincidents."
